First opening in the 1930s, Bolton Market is one of Britain’s oldest food markets. It received a £4.5 million investment in 2011 in a bid to make the town the food capital of the North West.

Keen to work with local businesses only, Willmott Dixon appointed the A1S group as a partner to deploy secure shutters the retail trading stalls on the market along with the entrance and exits.

What we delivered

The A1S group manufactured and fitted over 120 electrically operated “Steel Shield” galvanised security shutters with polyester powder coated surrounds to ensure that the shutters were customised to the market stall structures when open for trading.
